On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to bring to your attention the 17th Joint Vacuum Conference (JVC-17), which will be held in NH Collection Hotel – Olomouc Congress Center in Olomouc in the Czech Republic between September 10th and 14th, 2018. All scientists working in the field of the conference topics are invited to attend this conference, present and discuss their latest results in a stimulating scientific environment. JVC-17 is the meeting of the established series of Joint Vacuum Conferences, which are organized at two-years intervals by the Austrian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak and Slovenian national vacuum societies.

Deadline for poster contributions was extended till August 15, 2018. Be aware that the hotel reservations deadline is August 24, 2018.
